On this occasion, Grand Mercure Hanoi Hotel (Cat Linh Street) introduced a menu designed specifically for National Day, such as “Ba Dinh” themed cocktails, “Freedom” themed afternoon tea set, and “Revolutionary” menu introducing simple wartime dishes. The dishes will be beautifully decorated with red flags, yellow stars, and slogans about September 2. A representative of Grand Mercure Hanoi Hotel said that the food and beverage menus were specially designed by the chef to remind visitors of familiar images of the nation, while introducing foreign visitors to rustic Vietnamese dishes.

Meanwhile, Thang Long Opera Hotel (Tong Dan Street) also introduces to visitors an afternoon tea menu set with the theme of "National Day" with beautiful decorations of the red flag with yellow star. The drinks are also mixed with the main colors of red and yellow, accompanied by familiar Vietnamese candies such as peanut candy, sesame candy... In addition, the hotel also designed an "Independence" booth and a place to watch fireworks to celebrate National Day for visitors.

Recently, on social networks, a "patriotic" chicken pho restaurant quickly spread, inspiring diners. That is the That Tam chicken pho restaurant on Dang Tien Dong street (Dong Da ward). On each bowl of pho, the owner designed an image of a red flag with a yellow star made from pho noodles. The owner of the restaurant, Ho Duc Manh, said that on August 14, he first launched the "independent pho bowl" after many experiments, the price remained the same. The flag was hand-cut from pho noodles, dyed with food coloring to create red and yellow colors, stamped into shape with a mold and placed on the bowl when serving. "Each person will have different ways to express their love for the Fatherland on this occasion. As a restaurant, I want to spread the spirit of patriotism and special emotions to diners who come to the restaurant on the occasion of September 2nd" - Mr. Manh shared.

Not only That Tam chicken pho, many cafes and bakeries in Hanoi also quickly joined the patriotic trend. Drinks and cakes were created inspired by the red and yellow star colors, creating a strong spread on social networks on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day.
