Tran Bao Son invites beauties to act in his first movie

Runner-up Lam Bich Tuyen, top 5 Miss Universe Vietnam 2024 Paris Bao Nhi are two of the female faces who will participate in the project On the New Road - the directorial debut of actor Tran Bao Son.

The most surprising part of the cast is the presence of 3rd runner-up Miss Grand Vietnam 2024 Lam Bich Tuyen and top 5 Miss Universe Vietnam 2024 Paris Bao Nhi.

Explaining the choice of many new faces in his project, director Tran Bao Son said he does not focus on the star factor to guarantee box office, but rather focuses on the actor's suitability for the role and acting ability.

Trying his hand at directing for the first time, Tran Bao Son was excited about his very passionate project. Sharing at the opening ceremony, he thanked the entire crew and actors who have worked closely with him during the past time. At the same time, he hoped that the filming process would go smoothly, as well as that the audience would welcome this project.

Many runners-up and beauties were invited by Tran Bao Son to participate in the project.

While the male cast includes many familiar faces

On the New Road was inspired by Tran Bao Son's own life and experiences, living in two contrasting places, New York City and Ho Chi Minh City. He said the film is not only a story about the underworld and power, but also a journey to find love and hope in the most difficult circumstances.

Through the film, Tran Bao Son wants to send the message that although we cannot choose where we are born, we can choose how we will live.

In the past few years, Tran Bao Son has been almost absent from the film industry, spending most of his time focusing on business and preparing for his first brainchild.

He and his creative team sketched out frames that interweaved contrasting hot and cold colors, symbolizing good and evil, hatred and forgiveness.

Tran Bao Son is extremely excited about his first film project.

Tran Bao Son said the film will be filmed at many locations in New York City, Ninh Thuan Province and Ho Chi Minh City for about 2 months. The film is expected to be released to audiences in early 2026.
