From 8pm, many locals and tourists crowded into prime areas along the Han River to reserve spots to watch the fireworks display that lit up the sky.

Especially along Chuong Duong Street (from Tran Thi Ly Bridge to Tien Son Bridge), many people and tourists spread out tarps and sat close together on the sidewalk and embankment.

Many couples and families bring food and drinks to enjoy while waiting for the beautiful fireworks displays.

Coming with friends to watch the fireworks early, Mr. Nguyen Quoc Dat (25 years old, living in Lien Chieu district, Da Nang city) prepared his camera and drinks to wait to watch the fireworks.

“Because I want to have beautiful photos, I often come early to choose a position with the clearest view of the fireworks. I am really impressed with the fireworks displays that have been taking place over the past time,” Dat shared.

These brilliant fireworks displays are a new tourism product in the Symphony of River show of Da Nang Downtown. The fireworks display usually starts at around 9:00 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. every night, and has been going on for over a month now.

However, residents and tourists can enjoy fireworks for free in many areas along the Han River.

Fireworks lasting more than 10 minutes every night have quickly become "hot" on social networking platforms recently.

Located opposite the fireworks display site, a section of Chuong Duong Street these days attracts a large number of locals and tourists to come and have fun, chat, and watch the fireworks.

Mr. Tran Van Hoang (a tourist from Quang Binh ) said: “Sitting on the banks of the Han River to enjoy the cool breeze and watch the fireworks is a very interesting experience. If I have the chance, I will definitely come back to Da Nang again.”
