Reporting at the meeting, Vice President of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation Nguyen Kim Loan said that the work of propaganda and political and legal education has always been focused on and systematically implemented by the city's trade unions at all levels. Thereby, it helps to raise awareness among workers, make them feel secure in their work, avoid being drawn into illegal acts, and maintain security and order at the workplace.

Currently, the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation is managing more than 2.5 million union members out of a total of more than 2.6 million workers. Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style is widely implemented in each topic. Every year, more than 2.5 million union members and workers are disseminated legal knowledge about employment, military service , security and order at the grassroots level, etc.
Over the past 5 years, the Trade Union Social Work Center and trade unions at all levels have organized over 83,000 legal communication and consultation sessions, attracting more than 2 million union members and workers to participate. The content focuses on the rights and obligations of workers, skills to prevent social evils, and labor safety...

Notably, the network of social opinion collaborators, the core force, proactively grasped information, coordinated with authorities to provide 9,753 valuable pieces of information, contributing to the handling of 1,874 incidents related to security and order in the area.
In addition, many vocational training and skills development programs have been flexibly implemented, combining direct and online training, creating favorable conditions for workers to both study and work.
At the meeting, representatives of the grassroots trade union shared many experiences and recommended expanding official propaganda channels to increase the effectiveness of information access for workers.

In his concluding remarks, Comrade Thai Thu Xuong highly appreciated the creative models and methods that the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation has effectively implemented in the past time. He suggested that all levels of unions continue to grasp the thoughts and aspirations of workers in order to have timely support and care plans. Along with that, promote and replicate good models and effective methods; seriously overcome existing limitations and shortcomings.
He emphasized that grassroots trade unions must stabilize their organizational structure and not leave “empty areas”; trade union officials need to closely follow the grassroots, maintain discipline, internal solidarity, and strengthen the refuting of false and distorted information on cyberspace.
The Standing Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor also requested to continue implementing the peak month for union member development, associated with the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2025); promoting the movement of "Good workers, creative workers", especially innovation activities, digital transformation, "popular digital education" among union members.
