(Dan Tri) - On the occasion of New Year's Eve 2025, Ho Chi Minh City plans to organize a high-altitude fireworks display at the beginning of the Saigon River tunnel and two low-altitude displays in District 11 and Thu Duc City.
The Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee has just asked the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism for permission to organize fireworks displays on the occasion of New Year 2025. The high-altitude fireworks display will be held at the beginning of the Saigon River Tunnel (Thu Duc City). The low-altitude fireworks display will be located at Dam Sen Cultural Park (District 11) and Van Phuc Urban Area (Thu Duc City).

The fireworks display will be held from 0:00 to 0:15 on January 1, 2025. The funding will come from socialized sources.
In addition to fireworks, Ho Chi Minh City will organize a countdown program to welcome the new year 2025 at Nguyen Hue walking street, Ben Bach Dang Park (District 1). Art performances will be held in suburban districts on New Year's Eve and the first day of the new year.
Ho Chi Minh City will also organize many other sports activities on the occasion of New Year 2025. The streets in the city center will be decorated with artistic lighting.
