The Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee has just decided to establish the Ho Chi Minh City Culinary Association (FBA). This is an association under the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism .
Mr. Nguyen Tan Viet, Head of the Organizing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Culinary Association, said that the association was established by culinary artisans, skilled chefs, individuals, entrepreneurs, businesses, and organizations operating in the field of business, culinary startups, restaurants, hotels, coffee shops, etc. in Ho Chi Minh City.
The association was established to contribute to promoting and honoring the culinary culture of Ho Chi Minh City and Vietnam to the international level; organizing culinary, cultural and tourism festivals, promoting trade with domestic and foreign partners; researching and innovating, applying science and technology to the culinary industry...
For the first time, Ho Chi Minh City has a culinary association with more than 10,000 regularly active members.
According to the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism, FBA was established with a community of more than 10,000 active members. The association will be a bridge to exchange, connect, promote and introduce Ho Chi Minh City cuisine and Vietnamese cuisine.
Currently, Ho Chi Minh City is considered the culinary center for the entire Southeast region and the intersection between North - South, East - West. "With Ho Chi Minh City's cuisine, it is not simply a matter of eating and preparing dishes, but also the customs, habits and spiritual culture of the "happy and hospitable" people - said a representative of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism.
