On the morning of August 16, the Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Fatherland Front Committee of Tan Dinh Ward, Ho Chi Minh City organized a Walking activity to celebrate the success of the 1st Ward Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030.

This is a program responding to Plan 45/2025 of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee on organizing activities "Moving forward with Vietnam" in the city.

The walking activity was attended by leaders of Tan Dinh ward, representatives of leaders of organizations, schools, neighborhoods and a large number of union members, students and people in the area.

At the beginning of the program, all delegates and participants solemnly broadcast the National Flag Raising Ceremony at President Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum and listened to the opening speech from the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security .

Immediately after that, the slogans resounded, the walking group in red flag and yellow star uniforms set off simultaneously, walking through the central streets of the ward according to the planned route.

Specifically, the group departed from Dinh Tien Hoang Primary School - turned left at Dinh Tien Hoang - turned right at Dien Bien Phu - turned right at Mai Thi Luu - turned right at Nguyen Dinh Chieu - turned right at Dinh Tien Hoang - ended the journey at Dinh Tien Hoang Primary School.

With about 400 participants, the event was not only a sport activity to improve health but also an opportunity to express love for the homeland and country, strengthening the great national unity. The bright red shirts and the national flag fluttering on the streets created a beautiful image, spreading pride and the will of "Vietnam moving forward" to all people.

The national walking program "Moving Forward with Vietnam" was organized and launched by Nhan Dan Newspaper in coordination with the Ministry of Public Security, on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution, National Day September 2, the 80th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Vietnam People's Public Security (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the 20th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection (August 19, 2005 - August 19, 2025).

"Moving Forward with Vietnam" is an unprecedented community event of profound political and social significance, taking place in the context of the country entering a new stage of development along with the rearrangement of administrative units.

With the message "1 billion steps into the new era", the program is not only a sports activity responding to the campaign "All people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho" and the movement "Healthy to build and protect the Fatherland", but also a journey connecting millions of hearts, converging all generations and classes of people from urban to rural, mountainous, remote and isolated areas, together towards the goal of building a united, strong and sustainable Vietnam.
