Toyota Motor Thailand has just officially introduced the hybrid version of the Yaris ATIV 2025 sedan (also known as Toyota Vios in Vietnam). In this upgraded version, the car is equipped with many improvements in operation, technology and safety equipment. In terms of design, the Yaris ATIV HEV has a youthful, modern style with sharp LED lights at both front and rear, daytime running lights and glossy black details creating a sporty highlight. The car's grille is also painted black, along with adjustments to the suspension and steering wheel, helping to provide a more dynamic driving experience. The Premium version uses 16-inch wheels, while the GR SPORT is equipped with 17-inch wheels and larger tires. The car's cabin is finished with more premium materials, black and gray color scheme. The driver is supported by a 7-inch digital screen, while the center of the dashboard is a 10.1-inch touchscreen that supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The car also integrates wireless charging, rear seat air vents, automatic air conditioning with PM2.5 fine dust filter, 64-color interior lighting and a 6-speaker sound system. The GR SPORT version is even more outstanding with Pioneer speakers and leather seats with Alcantara and GR sports logo.
In terms of safety technology , the Yaris ATIV HEV is equipped by Toyota with almost all the best in the segment. The car has ABS, EBD, BA brakes, electronic balance, traction control, hill start assist and electronic handbrake with automatic brake hold. In addition, there is the advanced Toyota Safety Sense technology package with features such as adaptive cruise control, pre-collision warning and braking, lane departure warning, lane keeping assist, front vehicle departure detection and accelerator pedal misapplication control. The car also has a 360-degree camera, dash cam, front and rear parking sensors and 6 airbags, providing high peace of mind for users. The Yaris ATIV HEV marks a significant change for this vehicle line when it abandons the traditional 1.2L gasoline engine to switch to a hybrid powertrain. The vehicle uses a 1.5L gasoline engine combined with an electric motor, for a total capacity of 111 horsepower.
The gearbox has been upgraded to an e-CVT, with a 0.7 kWh lithium-ion battery. The new transmission system helps the car achieve a fuel consumption of about 3.4 liters / 100km. The 2025 Yaris ATIV HEV will be distributed in two versions: Premium and GR SPORT. The starting price of the car is announced from 719,000 to 769,000 Baht (equivalent to about 582 to 622 million VND). This is a preferential price applied during the launch period, lasting until December 31, 2025. After this time, the car price will increase by 10,000 Baht for each version.
