Diversify products to serve customers

As more and more new brands and units enter the market, competition becomes increasingly fierce, requiring businesses to be more proactive in diversifying products, expanding markets, and finding new orders.

In Dong Nai , many enterprises boldly apply technology, produce new products, take advantage of opportunities to improve production capacity, meet the needs of domestic customers and export.

Investment in upgrading production

At the end of 2024, Hung Vuong Construction Company Limited (Tan Trieu Ward, Dong Nai Province) inaugurated a prestressed steel-bore concrete water pipe factory, invested by the company with a capital of 300 billion VND. This new product can withstand very high pressure, can be constructed by open excavation or underground jacking method, so it saves space, as well as meets strict standards on environmental hygiene.

According to Mr. Dao Van Hac, Director of Hung Vuong Construction Company Limited, the product contributes to serving the urgent need for new construction, upgrading clean water supply pipelines for daily life, bringing raw water to water supply plants, irrigation water... The company hopes to receive support, companionship, and cooperation from partners in using its new products.

As one of the leading units in the Vietnamese rubber industry, at Dong Nai Rubber Corporation (Donaruco), the unit focuses on investing in production technology.

According to Mr. Do Minh Tuan, General Director of Donaruco, one of the issues that Donaruco is particularly interested in is developing and applying digital transformation. Innovation and application of science and technology can be considered the "key" for the sustainable development of the rubber industry. Donaruco has researched, designed and applied automation equipment, smart automatic monitoring systems (via phone apps) at processing factories, typically: rubber product packaging equipment, odor sensor systems, production line monitoring systems... The company has also successfully built a rubber traceability system and is the first unit in the entire Vietnamese rubber industry to successfully build a product traceability system.

With a large number of enterprises, Dong Nai will further promote technological innovation, apply digital transformation to production and business, and deploy support solutions in the coming time. Dong Nai hopes that enterprises will be proactive and bold in investing and applying advanced technological solutions to improve competitiveness, create high-quality products and services, and contribute to the overall development of the province.

Product diversification

The Linh One Member Co., Ltd. (Long Binh Ward, Dong Nai Province) specializes in manufacturing blankets, sheets, pillows, and mattresses. According to Mr. Pham The Linh, the company's director, the company is planning to build its own retail chain. The goal is to build 300 more sales agents nationwide by 2025 and the company is striving to achieve this. In order to increase sales and enhance the brand, the company has launched many new product lines such as: ice mattresses, natural rubber mattresses, feather pillows, mats, and convenient products for office workers...

Similarly, GC Food Joint Stock Company (GC Food, in Ho Nai Industrial Park) is also making efforts to diversify its product chain. From a start-up in Dong Nai, GC Food now has many factories and member companies in Dong Nai, Khanh Hoa and Ho Chi Minh City. In 2024, the entire company's revenue grew by 21.9% compared to the same period last year. This is thanks to investing in technology, optimizing production lines, improving management capacity and increasing operational efficiency.

At the same time, the company also diversifies its product range from raw, fresh products to deep processing. The company focuses on researching and developing key products such as aloe vera and coconut jelly to supply the world market; at the same time, it processes more high-end products such as collagen aloe vera juice, nutritious coconut jelly, low-sugar organic products... to meet the increasingly diverse needs of modern consumers.

Mr. Nguyen Van Thu, Chairman of the Board of Directors of GC Food, said: The company's revenue target in 2025 is 716 billion VND and continues to exploit new markets outside Northeast Asia such as the European - American market, Halal...

According to enterprises, diversifying products to expand the market, both meeting customer needs and being suitable for the actual conditions of each enterprise is considered an opportunity to improve the efficiency of production and business activities. However, this is not easy, but requires a specific strategy, persistent implementation based on the strengths of the enterprise; at the same time, it also requires support in terms of capital, technology, trade promotion, trade connection... to help enterprises limit risks.
