The National Achievements Exhibition on the occasion of the 80th National Day with the theme "80 years of the journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness" officially opens free of charge to serve the people and tourists from August 28 to September 5, 2025, at the National Exhibition Center (Dong Anh, Hanoi).
The opening ceremony took place this morning, August 28, with the participation of about 6,000 domestic and international delegates, broadcast live on VTV and VOV.
This is one of the first major events held at the National Exhibition Center - the largest exhibition complex in Southeast Asia, in the Top 10 largest exhibition complexes in the world .
The exhibition “80 Years of Journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness” introduces the country's outstanding achievements over 8 decades of construction, protection and development, while arousing national pride and creating momentum for a new period of wealth and prosperity.
This is also an opportunity to promote the image of a dynamic Vietnam, deeply integrated with international friends, affirming the stature of our country reaching out to welcome the new era.
The exhibition with the largest display space and content ever, along with a series of special programs and activities, promises to be an attractive destination.

In terms of space, the organizers arranged the exhibition in a centripetal manner. In the center of the exhibition hall is an area that recreates important events, historical milestones and outstanding achievements of the country under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam, with the theme "95 years of the Party flag lighting the way".
This space is divided into 9 halls, leading visitors on a journey through historical periods.
In addition to the indoor general exhibition area, there is also an outdoor exhibition area including the East, West, South, and North courtyards with a total area of 155,000m2.
Audiences will be able to admire aerospace products, flight models, aircraft models, satellites... at the West yard with the theme "Aspiration for the Sky", or go to the South yard where the Ministry of National Defense and the Ministry of Public Security will be in charge of the exhibition with the theme "Sword and Shield".
Fair, food, entertainment and experience activities will be available in the East courtyard and the performance space for art programs will be located in the North courtyard.
The international exhibition area and 12 cultural industries are located in Exhibition Hall Block A.
In terms of content, the exhibition introduces and displays the country's outstanding achievements in many fields such as industry - technology, investment - trade; agriculture - rural areas; security - defense; foreign affairs; health, education; culture, sports and tourism.
In particular, the exhibition also introduces the culture of 54 ethnic groups, natural resources of three regions and typical architectural works of the past and present.
During the exhibition, many art activities, forums and seminars will be held, all free of charge for the public.
The organizers will screen 50 films for free to the audience, and also hold many meetings with the film crew and actors.

The exhibition items, design and security plan were completed before the opening of the National Achievement Exhibition.
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism emphasized the requirement to ensure traffic flow, avoid congestion, and ensure absolute safety for delegates and visitors.
