According to Sputnik, Belgorod Governor Gladkov confirmed that all people on board the Russian plane carrying Ukrainian prisoners of war were killed after the transport plane crashed today.
Earlier, the Russian Defense Ministry announced on the same day that a Russian Air Force IL-76 crashed while carrying 65 Ukrainian prisoners of war. In addition, the plane had 6 crew members and 3 passengers.
Russia has sent personnel to the scene to investigate the incident.

The plane crashed in Korocha, Belgorod region. The Russian military sent an investigation team with the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations to the scene of the incident.
Belgorod Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov confirmed the incident: "The plane crash occurred in the Korocha district. The investigation team and the Russian Emergencies Ministry are currently working at the scene. I have changed my schedule and am on my way there. All details will be shared later."
Russian MP Andrey Valeryevich Kartapolov said that there was another IL-76 carrying 80 Ukrainian prisoners of war flying after the first one and it turned around when the plane crashed.
Rumors that Ukraine may have shot down the plane?
Ukrainska Pravda quoted a source from the Ukrainian armed forces as saying that the crash of the Russian IL-76 plane today in the Belgorod region appeared to be "carried out by Kiev."
Sources in the Ukrainian General Staff said the plane was shot down as it was believed to be carrying an S-300 air defense missile.
According to Russian MP Kartapolov, the IL-76 could have been shot down by three Patriot or Iris-T missiles. Russia has not officially commented on this information.
Russian State Duma (Lower House) Chairman Vyacheslav Volodin announced that he will send a request to the US Congress and the German parliament to determine what type of missile and launcher may have been used in the IL-76 crash.
Russia's State Duma Deputy Chairman Evgeniy Popov said that Ukraine seems to have learned the flight path of the crashed IL-76.
