Joining the joyful atmosphere of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2, millions of people and tourists flocked to key routes and areas to watch the parade rehearsals, admire modern military equipment and immerse themselves in the vibrant festival atmosphere, expressing national pride and love for the homeland. Amidst the bustling crowd, the image of the Red Cross uniform standing out at public transport points, especially the Cat Linh-Ha Dong elevated railway (Hanoi), has become a solid, silent but meaningful support.

In the launch ceremony on August 24 of First aid team, Mr. Nguyen Van Cuong, Director of the Humanitarian Service Center (Vietnam Red Cross Central Committee) said that this activity is part of the task assigned by the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Central Committee to the Humanitarian Service Center. Each First Aid Team consists of two experienced Central First Aid Trainers, including a Doctor, fully equipped with basic medical equipment, supplies and medicines in accordance with the regulations of the Ministry of Health . They are always ready to handle unexpected situations, from minor injuries, heatstroke, to cases requiring emergency first aid.

At around 5:00 p.m. on August 24, at Van Quan station, an unexpected incident occurred when Ms. NBL, 66 years old, residing in Ha Dong, had an accident and suffered soft tissue injuries to the back of her right hand and the right temple area.
