Hue honors outstanding students, continuing the tradition of studiousness

On the morning of August 24, at Ngo Mon Square, the People's Committee of Hue City held a ceremony to honor "Honorable Students of the Whole School" for the 2024-2025 school year with the participation of 384 outstanding students, including 212 primary school students, 132 middle school students and 40 high school students.

384 outstanding students in Hue were honored as "Outstanding Students of the Whole School".

The title of “School-wide Honor Student” was first implemented in the 2019-2020 school year, with 347 students honored. From 2021 to present, the number has remained stable at 384 students each year.

In the 2024-2025 school year, Hue students continued to achieve many outstanding achievements: 85/108 students won prizes at the national excellent student competition (78.7%); 2 students won medals at the Asian Physics Olympiad; 2 students won medals at the International Olympiad (1 Silver in Physics, 1 Silver in Biology).

Quoc Hoc High School for the Gifted - Hue has had students enter the final round of “Road to Olympia” for 3 consecutive years. The high school graduation rate of the whole city is 99.05%, ranking 9th out of 34 provinces and cities; 5 subjects are in the top 10 highest average scores in the country. In addition, many students have won prizes in science and technology, start-up, English speaking, UPU international letter writing and sports competitions.

This year's award ceremony is associated with the Truyen Lo Ceremony reenacted at Ngo Mon Gate. The city affirms that it will continue to accompany the education sector, promote its position as a high-quality training center, and create conditions for students to practice, develop and integrate.
