Báo Dân tríBáo Dân trí12/09/2024

On September 12, the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs sent an official dispatch to provinces and cities regarding the organization of the Mid-Autumn Festival in 2024.

In the context that many provinces in the Northern region are suffering the consequences of storm No. 3 and floods, the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs recommends that localities organize the Mid-Autumn Festival safely, economically and substantially, especially without ostentation or formality.

The document emphasizes limiting events with large crowds, instead organizing them online or on television, and sending gifts to children (if possible).

"Mid-Autumn Festival activities should be shortened and focus on meaningful content such as reading letters from the General Secretary andPresident , and giving gifts to children in special circumstances, poor children, ethnic minorities, and children affected by natural disasters," the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs noted.

In addition, the Ministry also emphasized educating children about the spirit of solidarity and mutual love, and called for sharing and donations from the community to help children in flood-affected areas return to school soon and stabilize their lives.
