As part of a series of activities towards the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2025), Kinh te va Do thi Newspaper, ActionAid International in Vietnam (ActionAid) and the Vietnam Social Security Program and Project Support Fund (AFV) for the first time organized a program aiming at the goal of planting trees and developing mangrove forests to help protect a sustainable future and adapt to climate change called "For a green Vietnam". Accordingly, the units planted 2,025 white mangrove trees in Lai Hoa commune, Vinh Chau town, with the number of trees planted being 2,025 trees. This is considered a number to both mark the planting year of 2025 and to remind about the meaningful activity contributing to creating landscapes, protecting ecosystems, and aiming at the message of sustainable environmental protection.

Through the program “For a Green Vietnam”, by planting 2,025 white mangrove trees, the organizers contribute to the locality’s efforts to protect the environment, restore the ecosystem, and ensure a life in harmony with nature towards a sustainable green future. The program is also especially meaningful to journalists on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day.
