The campaign program with the theme: "65 years of Vietnam - Cuba friendship" was chaired by the Thanh Hoa Provincial Red Cross Society, in coordination with the following units: Department of Foreign Affairs, Department of Education and Training, Provincial Youth Union, Provincial Union of Friendship Organizations, Provincial Business Association, Thanh Hoa Newspaper and Radio - Television and VCCI Thanh Hoa - Ninh Binh branch.
As planned, the campaign is widely deployed among all classes of people in the province to help the Cuban people overcome the serious difficulties caused by the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, natural disasters and the impact of global economic fluctuations.
This demonstrates the role and responsibility of the Vietnamese people towards the international humanitarian work. At the same time, it further deepens the solidarity, special friendship, comprehensive cooperation and strategic trust between the Party, State and People of Vietnam and Cuba.
This is also an opportunity to promote propaganda and education about the special friendship and solidarity, the consistent loyalty between Vietnam and Cuba to all classes of people and cadres, members, volunteers and youth of the Red Cross, in order to contribute to practically expressing gratitude to the Cuban people for wholeheartedly helping the Vietnamese people in difficult times with the spirit of selflessness and purity "For Vietnam, Cuba is willing to sacrifice its blood".

The campaign was launched in conjunction with the World First Aid Day celebration organized by the Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee in coordination with the Vietnam Red Cross Central Committee on September 6, 2025 in Sam Son ward.
Mobilize support among cadres, party members, and workers in departments, agencies, unions, provincial agencies and units, communes and wards in the province; residential areas, households, collectives, businesses, organizations, and individuals.
Diversify donation and reception channels from organizations and individuals inside and outside the province and on digital platforms, such as: Charity app, Online support page on the website of Thanh Hoa Provincial Red Cross Society and Vietnam Central Red Cross Society...
Launch a movement to compete in creativity, communication and support the Cuban people in schools in many forms: Writing letters to Cuban children, competing to make small plans to contribute to support Cuban children.
Open an account to support the Cuban People at the Bank and place QR codes/donation boxes at offices, schools...
