This is one of the important and meaningful working sessions in the series of activities in the Journey "I love my Fatherland" organized by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union abroad and Osaka city is the chosen location due to the number of Vietnamese people gathered here.

At the meeting, the Standing Representative of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Federation informed about the activities of 5 Vietnamese youth and student organizations abroad that are members of the Vietnam Youth Federation, of which VYSA was established the earliest (2001) and has many activities attracting many youth and students to participate.
Mr. Nguyen Kim Quy - Head of the Youth Affairs Department of the Central Office of the Vietnam Fatherland Front , Permanent Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Federation, requested the Vietnamese Embassy in Japan to continue to pay attention to directing, guiding, and creating favorable conditions for VYSA's activities. In 2026, the Vietnam Youth Federation will celebrate its 70th anniversary, VYSA will celebrate its 25th anniversary, the Vietnam Youth Federation hopes that VYSA will have activities both in Japan and in Vietnam.

Speaking at the ceremony, the representative of the Vietnamese Embassy in Japan highly appreciated the "I Love My Fatherland" Journey, which was held for the first time in Japan. The Ambassador said that the majority of Vietnamese people in Japan are young people, so the Embassy attaches great importance to the youth in community work. The Vietnamese Embassy is always ready to support connecting VYSA with Japanese enterprises interested in investing in Vietnam or employing Vietnamese workers. The Vietnamese Embassy is developing a project to promote Vietnamese as a second foreign language in Japanese schools, targeting second and third generation Vietnamese people and Japanese people; proposing to the Government to build a digital platform to connect Vietnamese scientists and intellectuals in Japan to form a network to share information and collaborate on research, etc.
On behalf of the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union, Mr. Nguyen Kim Quy awarded Certificates of Merit from the Vietnam Youth Union to the branches and 7 VYSA leaders with outstanding achievements; and presented a Vietnamese bookcase to the Vietnamese Language Association in Japan.
On this occasion, VYSA organized a presentation contest and awarded scholarships to 10 contestants on the topic "I love my Fatherland" in response to the "I love my Fatherland" Journey 2025 of the Vietnam Youth Union.

Lao Cai Youth Union is honored to accompany the program because this is an opportunity to exchange, learn valuable experiences, and at the same time, it is an activity for young people who are students studying in Japan to express their attachment to their homeland, spreading the spirit of patriotism on the occasion of the 80th Anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2.
