Tens of thousands of young people participate in the flag-raising ceremony "I love my country"

This morning, the "I love my Fatherland" flag-raising ceremony organized by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union and youth associations at all levels took place simultaneously at 7 central locations, 34 provincial locations and 3,334 communal locations, with the participation of tens of thousands of young people.

The locations where the special flag-raising ceremony was held were all brightly decorated with flags, and the heroic national anthem echoed, evoking love for the Fatherland and national pride for the young people and people participating.

From the Van Xuan Flower Garden bridge (Hang Dau Booth, Hanoi ), Mr. Nguyen Tuong Lam, Chairman of the Vietnam Youth Union, called on each member and young person to turn today's emotions into concrete and persistent actions, so that the national flag and the spirit of "I love my Fatherland" are present in every action, from creative products spreading patriotic messages on social networks to daily study and work.

The President of the Vietnam Youth Union also emphasized: "Whether young people live in the city or the countryside, whether the job is big or small, let everything you do contribute to portraying the image of a generation of dynamic, brave Vietnamese youth ready to contribute to the Fatherland."

After the flag-raising ceremony, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union presented 800 national flags and Uncle Ho's photos, 50 flags to schools in the area; visited and presented gifts to 5 families of veteran revolutionaries and policy beneficiaries in the area; visited the "Popular Education" team; and supported the local government at 2 levels in Truc Bach ward.

At the same time, the central flag-raising ceremony took place at Hang Duong Cemetery, Con Dao Special Zone (HCMC); Thu Ngu Flagpole (HCMC); the three-border landmark, the Vietnam - Laos - Cambodia Friendship Cultural House, Quang Ngai Province; Mui Doi - Hon Dau, Khanh Hoa Province; Lung Cu Flagpole, Tuyen Quang Province; Mui Ca Mau Flagpole, Ca Mau Province.

The "I Love My Fatherland" flag-raising ceremony is one of the special events of members and Vietnamese youth to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025). This is also the key activity of the second stage of the "I Love My Fatherland" journey; called "Proud of the national epic" taking place from July 27 to August 19.
