Details of special contract between Osimhen and Galatasaray
According to Sky Italia, Napoli and Galatasaray have reached an agreement on the payment method in the Victor Osimhen deal. Specifically, the Turkish team will pay 40 million euros (43.6 million USD) immediately, the remaining 35 million euros (about 38.2 million USD) will be paid next summer.
Napoli also have the opportunity to receive additional bonuses depending on Osimhen's performance and will receive 10% of the profits if Galatasaray sells this striker in the future. In addition, the Serie A champions also included a clause that does not allow Galatasaray to sell Osimhen to any Serie A team for the next 2 years.
If the deal goes through, Osimhen will become the most expensive signing in the history of the Turkish Super League. Previously, Galatasaray's record signing was Gabriel Sara, who cost 18 million euros ($19.6 million).
Osimhen has been linked with a move to Man United and a number of Saudi Arabian clubs, but he has insisted he wants to stay at Galatasaray, where he scored 37 goals in 41 games last season and contributed greatly to the Super Lig title.
Man United ready to spend big, snatch Gyokeres from Arsenal
Arsenal have been pursuing Viktor Gyokeres for weeks but have been hampered by Sporting Lisbon's tough stance. The Gunners have offered €60 million ($65.4 million) plus €10 million in add-ons (around $10.9 million), but have been rejected.
Sporting only wants to receive 75 million euros ($81.8 million) in a one-time payment. The deadlock in negotiations has put the deal at risk of collapsing.
In that context, British media revealed that Man United is ready to join the race, accepting to spend a total of 80 million euros (87.2 million USD) to bring the Swedish striker to Old Trafford. According to A Bola (Portugal), Gyokeres himself is also tired and ready to change his mind if the two clubs agree on the transfer fee.
Rashford medical test in Barcelona
Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that Barcelona have completed the transfer of Marcus Rashford. The England striker is flying to Spain for a medical ahead of a loan deal with an option to buy for €30 million ($32.7 million) at the end of the season.
Barca committed to pay 14 million euros before tax ($15.3 million), excluding bonuses. For his part, Rashford agreed to take a 15% pay cut to complete the deal.
Galatasaray reach personal agreement with Ederson
According to Sky Germany, Galatasaray has reached a personal agreement with goalkeeper Ederson to strengthen their squad for the Champions League campaign. However, the possibility of completing this deal is not high because Galatasaray has not sent any official offer to Man City, while the English team does not want to lose their number one goalkeeper without finding a replacement.
Liverpool about to detonate "blockbuster" Ekitike
British media reported that Liverpool have reached an agreement with Eintracht Frankfurt to sign striker Hugo Ekitike. The total cost is up to 95 million euros (103.6 million USD). The French player will sign a 6-year contract, until the summer of 2031.
Last season, Ekitike scored 22 goals and had 12 assists in 48 Bundesliga matches. With a height of 1m90, good speed and technique, he is considered suitable for Jurgen Klopp's attacking style. Up to now, Liverpool has spent more than 200 million euros (218 million USD) in the summer transfer window, bringing in many prominent names such as Florian Wirtz, Jeremie Frimpong, Milos Kerkez.
RB Leipzig value Xavi Simons
Sky Germany revealed that RB Leipzig are willing to part ways with Xavi Simons if they receive a reasonable offer, with a price ranging from 50 to 65 million euros ($54.5–70.8 million). Chelsea, Arsenal and Bayern Munich are among the names closely following the Dutch international.
In the 2024/25 season, Xavi Simons played 25 Bundesliga games for Leipzig and scored 10 goals. At 21, he is considered one of the most promising young talents in Europe.
