In the first six months of 2025, the Political Work Department focused on doing a good job of ideological work, creating high consensus and unanimity among cadres, party members, and soldiers, and effectively implementing the proposed work programs and plans.

Notably, the Political Affairs Department has proactively and promptly advised the Party Committee - Board of Directors of the City Police to organize the dissemination, propaganda, and implementation of the resolutions and instructions of the Ministry of Public Security in implementing the conclusions of the Central Executive Committee and the 13th Politburo; advised and directed the good implementation of political and ideological education and propaganda work of the Party, especially the ideology of cadres and soldiers after the merger, and the consolidation of the organizational apparatus. In addition, the department also advised and organized well the activities to celebrate the anniversary and major events of the year.

Propaganda work is also a bright spot with more than 1,500 news, articles and reports posted on mass media; exceeding the target of news and articles posted on the Ministry of Public Security's Electronic Information Portal on propaganda work...

On behalf of the Party Committee - Board of Directors of the City Police, Colonel Duong Van Thoan, Deputy Director of the City Police, commended and congratulated the achievements of the Political Work Department in the first 6 months of 2025. At the same time, he requested the Command Board of the Political Work Department and all officers and soldiers to promote the achievements; overcome existing problems, draw lessons to propose solutions and key tasks in the last 6 months of the year and the following period.

In particular, continue to innovate thinking, methods, and ways of doing things to perform well the advisory function, focusing on grasping the ideological situation, thoughts, and legitimate aspirations of officers and soldiers, especially those affected by the reorganization of the apparatus and changes in working positions. Along with that, proactively coordinate, review the content and tasks, and organize well the activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Vietnam People's Public Security Traditional Day and the 20th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection; propaganda activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and National Day September 2; advise on organizing activities to celebrate the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term.
