Receiving funding to support the construction of 200 Great Solidarity houses for poor households in Dien Bien

Comrade Nguyen Minh Triet, former Politburo member, former President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, and leaders of Binh Duong province presented funding to support the construction of 200 Great Solidarity houses for poor households in Dien Bien province.

Attending and receiving the support fund , on the side of Dien Bien province, there were comrades: Tran Quoc Cuong, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee ; Mua A Son, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee ; Lo Van Mung, member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission , Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee ; Pham Duc Toan, member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee , Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee...

Comrade Nguyen Minh Triet, former Politburo member and former President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, offered incense at the Dien Bien Phu Battlefield Martyrs' Temple.

Implementing the policy of the Politburo, the Secretariat, and the Government, towards the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory (May 7, 1954 - May 7, 2024), the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front issued Project 09 to mobilize support for building Great Solidarity houses for poor households in Dien Bien province and the Northwest region, including supporting the construction of houses for 5,000 poor households in Dien Bien province.

Comrade Nguyen Minh Triet, former Politburo member and former President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, offered incense on graves at A1 Martyrs' Cemetery.

With the attention and support of central departments, ministries, branches, unions, localities, agencies, organizations, enterprises, and philanthropists ; after more than 6 months of implementing Project 09, up to now, Dien Bien province has 4,989 poor households that have been built houses (reaching over 99%) . Of which , 3,828 households have completed their houses (reaching over 77%) . Dien Bien province aims to complete the support and construction of 5,000 houses before February 3, 2024 to help poor households in the province have new houses to welcome the Lunar New Year 2024.

Comrade Nguyen Minh Triet, former Politburo member, former President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, planted a memorial tree at the Dien Bien Phu Battlefield Martyrs' Temple.

To continue supporting the poor in Dien Bien province to implement Project 09, the Party Committee, government and people of Binh Duong province supported Dien Bien province with 10 billion VND to build 200 Great Solidarity houses for poor households.

Provincial Party Secretary Tran Quoc Cuong sincerely thanked Comrade Nguyen Minh Triet, the Party Committee, the government, the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the people and philanthropists of Binh Duong province for their valuable support to poor households in the province. Dien Bien province promised to make efforts to implement the program in a timely manner, ensure quality, and use the support funds effectively, to the right beneficiaries, and in accordance with regulations.

Comrade Nguyen Minh Triet, former Politburo member, former President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, and the delegation of Binh Duong Provincial Party Committee visited the Panorama painting at the Dien Bien Phu Historical Victory Museum.

Before handing over funds to build the Great Solidarity House to Dien Bien province, comrade Nguyen Minh Triet, former Politburo member , former President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, and the delegation of Binh Duong Provincial Party Committee offered incense and laid wreaths at the Dien Bien Phu Battlefield Martyrs' Temple, A1 Martyrs' Cemetery; planted a memorial tree at the Dien Bien Phu Battlefield Martyrs' Temple and visited the Panorama painting at the Dien Bien Phu Historical Victory Museum.
