Received nearly 800 million VND in support of the Cuban people

On August 27, the Khanh Hoa Provincial Red Cross Society held a meeting of the Provisional Executive Committee for the 2021-2026 term and received support from the Cuban people on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam-Cuba diplomatic relations.

Representatives of the Department of Home Affairs presented flowers and congratulated the Provisional Executive Committee of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Red Cross Society for the 2021-2026 term.

The conference approved the decisions of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society on the recognition of the Executive Committee (consisting of 37 comrades), the Standing Committee, and the Provisional Inspection Committee of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Red Cross Society for the 2021-2026 term; and the decision to recognize the positions of Chairman and Vice Chairman of the Provincial Red Cross Society. Accordingly, comrade Duong Nam Khanh continues to hold the position of Chairman of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Red Cross Society.

Through an open letter, the Khanh Hoa Provincial Red Cross Society called on and mobilized all people to support the Cuban people on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Cuba. On this occasion, a number of agencies, organizations, businesses and individuals in the province participated in supporting with a total amount of nearly 800 million VND.

The provincial Red Cross leaders presented a plaque of gratitude to units participating in supporting the Cuban people.
