Aesthetics PhD The Hung launches book of portraits of 56 famous artists

On June 27, at the Writers Association Publishing House, Doctor of Aesthetics, artist The Hung introduced to readers the book "The Hung's Memories", a work he has cherished for more than a year to depict 56 portraits of artists and famous people.

“The Hung Memories” presents a colorful picture of talented people in many fields, from artists who contributed to the appearance of Vietnamese literature and art in the 20th century, to scientists with silent but meaningful contributions, or businessmen with outstanding vision and courage. Each portrait is a separate story, a separate fate, but all converge at the same point: talent and dedication to the country.

The book consists of two main parts: The author's memories from childhood to adulthood, building a career; and Memories of great artists and famous friends, with many achievements in various fields.

For him, writing these portraits is to help future generations understand the talent, life, fate, pain, and hidden corners of great talents such as Van Cao, Nguyen Dinh Thi, Hoang Cam, Phan Huynh Dieu, Nguyen Tuan, Trinh Cong Son, Nguyen Gia Tri, Bui Xuan Phai, Quang Dung, Xuan Dieu, Luu Quang Vu - Xuan Quynh.

Doctor of aesthetics, painter The Hung was born in 1947, in Non Khe village, Yen Tu commune, Yen Mo district, Ninh Binh province. He has taught at many universities and has also been a speaker in many talks on topics such as life skills, behavioral culture, raising successful children...
