“Mileways of the Fatherland” is a true record of Tina's feelings along the road from north to south, not only the people, the landscapes but also the products, the specialties of many lands, as well as the painful stories and the way the people in those lands overcame and rose up miraculously.

The book is a deep and sincere gratitude that the author sends to her homeland Vietnam, where she grew up, was attached to and found inspiration for living and writing. Through each page of the book, Vietnam appears with its rustic yet profound beauty: from the peaceful countryside, the rolling mountains covered with clouds, to the bustling life in the city.

It is not only a journey through geographical space, but also a journey back to memories: about her grandfather with national pride imprinted in every story, about her friends who brought her sweet and close experiences, about her childhood filled with emotional fragments, and also about the very ordinary moments of modern life today.

Author Tina Yuan confided: “The book has a very special perspective, and with this perspective, I think it will be different from all the travel or geography books about the landscapes of many regions in Vietnam. It is the perspective of a Vietnamese person far away from the Fatherland, not living in Vietnam but seeing from the inside, not from the outside perspective of ordinary international tourists .”

With “Under the Blue Sky of Greece”, Tina Yuan leads readers to this distant European country not through destinations, ancient relics, or travel guides, but through the footsteps of the heart. Those footsteps start from the childhood dream of reaching the Acropolis, being led by a warm Greek boy, and being supported by the strange but close people in this place.

The book opens a poetic travelogue, where the land of ancient mythology appears not only through the silent relics, the brilliant yellow sunlight or the characteristic blue of the Aegean Sea, but also through each delicate slice of the author's emotions and thoughts.

In Greece, Tina Yuan not only set foot in a strange country, but also stepped into another world , where history, art, cuisine and people blend together in a lively symphony. The experiences here, from simple meals imbued with identity, short but kind encounters, to unfulfilled but sincere and profound love affairs, are all recorded in a feminine, quiet and poignant voice.

“Under the Blue Sky of Greece” is not only a travel book, but also an inward journey, where each step outside is a gentle touch to the inner world. “Introducing two works at the same time is a big challenge, but I want to affirm that, wherever I am, the inspiration for writing always comes from love, for people, for beauty and for truth,” the author shared.

The two works mark an important shift in Tina Yuan's writing style, from personal narratives to a broad view of culture, people, and cross-border emotional touches.

"For me, the inner self is not something fixed, but is formed from each moment, emotion and person that I meet on the road of life. Each land will change my inner self in its own way. Greece teaches me a lot - especially the spirit of "never giving up". For example, the story of Marathon - a symbol of will and perseverance - also originates from Greece. Those things not only nurture my intelligence, but also train my inner spiritual strength" - Tina confided.
