The project "Investment in infrastructure construction to serve the reception and propaganda work of the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Management Board" aims to complete the grass plots south of Ba Dinh Square to ensure the architectural landscape of the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and Ba Dinh Square; enhance the architectural aesthetics and solemnity of the Mausoleum; contribute to providing thoughtful and safe service to the people and international visitors visiting President Ho Chi Minh and participating in activities at Ba Dinh Square.

The project includes the following items: Demolition of 4 villas; expansion of 4 rows of grass plots to the south of Ba Dinh Square's lawn; construction and installation of new security fences on Doc Lap Street and Chua Mot Cot Street; construction and addition of information, radio and television systems in the area south of Ba Dinh Square; construction and addition of automatic sprinkler irrigation systems, manual irrigation and drainage systems in the expanded lawn area, the area adjacent to existing lawn plots; completion of lighting systems for roads, lawns and sidewalks around the expanded lawn area; addition of chandeliers on the sidewalks around the expanded lawn area; addition of flower beds, trees and restoration of infrastructure, yards and sidewalks bordering the expanded lawn area...

The project started construction on June 9, 2025. Despite the tight deadline, the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Command and agencies and units have been proactive, proactive, and made efforts to implement the work. Up to now, all items have been completed according to the design, ensuring quality and meeting the progress as directed by the Head of the Ministry of National Defense.

In the coming time, the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Command will focus on completing the project documents, continuing to monitor, maintain the project, and take care of the lawn to ensure the A80 task and other tasks, and carry out payment and settlement of project completion.

Concluding the inspection, Senior Lieutenant General Hoang Xuan Chien acknowledged and commended the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Command and relevant agencies and units for strictly following the direction of the head of the Ministry of National Defense, implementing the project with a spirit of urgency, determination, and resoluteness, and excellently completing the task. Up to now, after 52 days of implementation, the project items have been completed, exceeding the schedule, targets, and requirements set out.

Senior Lieutenant General Hoang Xuan Chien requested the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Command to coordinate with agencies and units to continue to supplement and complete details of the items; to renovate the landscape, trim trees, and take care of the lawns to ensure cleanliness and beauty for the people and visitors. Organize acceptance, completion, payment, settlement and report to the Ministry of National Defense for additional funding according to regulations. The Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Command shall preside over and coordinate with the Office of the Ministry of National Defense to develop a report on the project implementation results to report to the Prime Minister.

Senior Lieutenant General Hoang Xuan Chien also requested agencies and units to carry out emulation and reward work well, review policies and regimes, and promptly motivate those directly involved in the project implementation. At the same time, the General Staff was assigned to direct relevant agencies to coordinate with the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Command to develop a plan to absolutely protect the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, especially during the upcoming important ceremonies.
