At the meeting, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and Foreign Minister Lavrov affirmed their importance to the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between the two countries, and their desire to continue developing relations in all aspects, especially continuing to increase delegation exchanges at all levels, promoting cooperation in all fields, especially continuing to cooperate to overcome the impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic for sustainable development.
The two sides emphasized the need to effectively implement cooperation mechanisms and agreements, and remove current difficulties and obstacles to expand trade, commerce, and tourism, as well as promote cooperation in other fields.
At the meeting, the two sides also exchanged views on international and regional issues of mutual concern, expressing their desire to continue contributing to maintaining peace, cooperation and development in Southeast Asia, Europe and the world.
