Joining the delegation were comrades Luong Nguyen Minh Triet - Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Duc Dung - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Le Van Dung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, and leaders of departments, branches and Tam Ky City.
In a solemn atmosphere, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and the delegation offered flowers and incense to commemorate the heroic Vietnamese mothers and martyrs who made great contributions to the cause of national liberation and reunification.
The activity shows the deep gratitude of the Party and State to those who sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the country; at the same time, it reminds today's generation of the morality of "drinking water, remember its source", continuing the heroic tradition of the nation.
* Before that, the delegation offered flowers and incense at the Martyrs' Cemetery of Quang Nam province; offered flowers and incense at the Monument to Martyrs from Thanh Hoa province at the Heroic Vietnamese Mother Monument.
