The program was organized by the Youth Union of Hanoi Heart Hospital in coordination with the People's Committee of Dan Dien Commune and the Vietnam Electricity Transmission Company. The activity has a deep meaning of gratitude, taking place on the occasion of the War Invalids and Martyrs Day, July 27.
People coming for examination will receive medical services such as general examination, abdominal ultrasound, electrocardiogram, in-depth cardiovascular consultation, and free medicine.

This is the first time many elderly people and policy beneficiaries in this area have direct access to a team of specialized cardiovascular doctors from the central level.
Representative of the local government, Mr. Pham Cong Phuoc - Vice Chairman of Dan Dien commune said: "This is a very meaningful program, not only helping people to receive health care but also a great recognition and encouragement for those who sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland."

Speaking at the examination, Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Sinh Hien shared his desire to contribute a small part in health care and show gratitude to previous generations.
He emphasized that Hanoi Heart Hospital will continue to maintain humanitarian and social activities towards the community, especially for policy beneficiaries.

Not only stopping at professional activities, the medical union members also visited, encouraged, and listened to the stories of the uncles and aunts who had once devoted their youth to the country.
Simple but touching stories are the motivation for the young generation in the medical profession to understand, be grateful and continue their journey of serving the community.
