According to the Telegraph , in a speech on July 2, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared that there would be no Hamas in Gaza after the conflict.
"There will be no Hamas. We will eliminate them. We will free all our hostages," Prime Minister Netanyahu said.

The Israeli prime minister's comments came just a day after US President Donald Trump announced that Israel had accepted his ceasefire proposal with Hamas. Although the exact terms remain unclear, they appear to be similar to the previous one that Hamas has repeatedly rejected since February.
Hamas recently said it was considering President Trump's ceasefire proposal, while repeating its demand that Israel withdraw from the Gaza Strip and commit to ending the conflict in exchange for the release of any hostages.

Earlier, President Trump said on July 1 that Israel had "agreed to the necessary conditions" to complete a ceasefire in the conflict with Hamas in Gaza.
"US representatives had a productive meeting with Israel on July 1st regarding Gaza. Israel has agreed to the necessary conditions to complete a 60-day ceasefire. During that time, we will work with all parties to end the conflict," President Trump announced on Truth Social.
