This morning (June 28), Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh chaired a meeting to continue reviewing and resolving the US's concerns related to economics , trade, and investment.
Concluding the meeting, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh said that in the context of rapid, complex and unpredictable developments in the world and the region, we will continue to firmly pursue the economic growth target of 8% this year, while maintaining macroeconomic stability, controlling inflation, ensuring major balances, and improving the material and spiritual lives of the people.
To achieve this goal, the Prime Minister emphasized that Vietnam continues to promote cooperation with all partners, including the US. Recently, many issues of concern to the US side have been actively and effectively resolved.

Vietnam is always ready to dialogue, listen to each other's opinions, consider issues of concern and requests of partners, including the US, absorb opinions, resolve appropriate proposals, serving the interests of the two countries, people, businesses of both sides and related entities.
Thereby, ensuring Vietnam's core interests, meeting the requirements of maintaining independence and sovereignty and building an independent and self-reliant economy associated with proactive and active international integration, deeply, substantially and effectively.
The Head of Government also emphasized that with institutional and legal problems, both sides should dialogue and listen to find suitable solutions.
Research agencies shall amend according to their authority; if beyond their authority, they shall propose to competent authorities for consideration and decision. Thereby, contributing to removing institutional bottlenecks, innovating the work of law making and enforcement, contributing to socio-economic development, promoting bilateral relations in general and economic, trade and investment relations in particular in an equal, stable, healthy and effective manner.
