Deputy Minister of Public Security Le Quoc Hung offers incense to commemorate the 1019th death anniversary of National Hero Le Hoan

On the morning of April 13, at the special national historical site of Le Hoan Temple, Trung Lap village, Xuan Lap commune (Tho Xuan), Lieutenant General Le Quoc Hung , member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Minister of Public Security, offered incense to commemorate the 1019th death anniversary of National Hero Le Hoan.

According to history books: Le Hoan was born on July 15, Tan Suu year (August 10, 941) in a poor farmer family, his father was Le Mich, his mother was Dang Thi Sen. During his 64 years of life, with 10 years as a General of the Ten Directions, 24 years of reigning the country, King Le Dai Hanh led the army and people of Dai Co Viet to defeat the Song, pacify the Cham, expand the territory, and build a prosperous country. He had many contributions in diplomacy , building and developing the Dai Co Viet nation. During his reign, he built many construction projects. Promoted agricultural production, organized the Tich Dien plowing ceremony to encourage people to produce. Built many canals and dikes, and expanded roads. He was the first person to organize the digging of rivers, the dug river under his direction is still in Thanh Hoa today, often called the Le Dynasty canal.

On this occasion, Deputy Minister of Public Security Le Quoc Hung and leaders of Tho Xuan district planted souvenir trees at the Le Hoan Temple campus; visited booths displaying OCOP products and performances of Tho Xuan district at the Le Hoan Temple Festival and Tho Xuan District Culture - Tourism - Cuisine Week 2024.

The 2024 Le Hoan Temple Festival, commemorating the 1019th anniversary of the death of National Hero Le Hoan and the Tho Xuan District Culture - Tourism - Cuisine Week 2024 will be held from April 13 to April 17, 2024 (ie from the 5th to the 9th of the third lunar month) at Le Hoan Temple, Xuan Lap Commune. Within the framework of the Festival and Tho Xuan Culture - Tourism - Cuisine Week, there will be many diverse and attractive events and activities.
