Accordingly, the Provincial People's Committee assigned the People's Committee of Dien Ban town to coordinate with the Provincial Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board to organize and closely monitor the sand source, transport the correct volume, use it for the right purpose to serve the construction of the temporary dam to prevent salinity on Vinh Dien river in 2025 and fulfill financial obligations for the volume of minerals allowed to be used in accordance with regulations.

It is known that the authorities will use about 9,000m3 of sand taken from dredging the Co Co River to construct a temporary dam on the Vinh Dien River. This amount of sand is currently being gathered at the B3 storage yard, Ha My Trung block, Dien Duong ward.

The Provincial People's Committee also assigned the Provincial Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board to update and accurately verify the remaining sand volume being gathered at the storage sites after handing over the above sand volume to the Dien Ban Town People's Committee.
