Patriotic emulation, the driving force for Dak Lak Education to break through to a new stage

GD&TĐ - On the afternoon of August 25, the Department of Education and Training of Dak Lak organized the first conference on advanced models in the education and training sector, period 2025-2030.

Attending the conference were Ms. Huynh Thi Chien Hoa - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Ms. Le Thi Thanh Xuan - Director of the Department of Education and Training; leaders of provincial departments, agencies and branches; typical advanced collectives and individuals in the provincial education and training sector in the period 2020-2025.

Marking a period of exciting competition

Over the past 5 years, the patriotic emulation movement in the Dak Lak Education sector has left a strong mark, despite facing numerous difficulties from the Covid-19 pandemic to the requirement to innovate the 2018 General Education Program.

The province currently has more than 708 thousand students with 1,379 educational institutions and a staff of nearly 38,500 cadres and teachers. In that context, the emulation movement has become a driving force for each school, teacher and student to overcome difficulties and rise up. Campaigns such as "Each teacher is a model of morality, self-study and creativity", "Innovation and creativity in management, teaching and learning" ... are increasingly going into depth.

The outstanding achievement is spearhead education with hundreds of national excellent student awards, of which in the 2024-2025 school year, the province won 72 awards, ranking 16th nationwide. Science and technology projects and start-up ideas of students have won national awards many times, affirming the intelligence and creativity of the youth of the highlands.

The work of building national standard schools has achieved many results, with more than 59.5% of educational institutions recognized as meeting standards by mid-2025. In particular, the movement "For the poor - leaving no one behind" has mobilized nearly 10 billion VND each year to support thousands of students at risk of dropping out of school.

Director of the Department of Education and Training Le Thi Thanh Xuan emphasized: "The patriotic emulation movement is the flame of inspiration and strength for the Dak Lak Education sector to overcome all difficulties, towards the goal of sustainable development and prosperity."

New momentum for the period 2025–2030

Entering the 2025-2030 period, Dak Lak education is facing the requirement of both implementing the 2nd cycle of the 2018 General Education Program and implementing the Education Development Strategy to 2030, with a vision to 2045.

The Department of Education and Training has launched a new emulation movement with 8 key tasks, emphasizing: Continuing to thoroughly implement Directive No. 41-CT/TW of the Politburo on strengthening leadership of emulation and reward work in the new situation.

Compete to fundamentally and comprehensively innovate education, associated with the implementation of Resolution 29-NQ/TW and Conclusion 91-KL/TW of the Politburo.

Promote digital transformation, strive to digitize 50% of emulation and reward records; synchronously deploy electronic transcripts and digital signatures for 100% of teachers.

Each school unit builds and replicates at least one advanced model, creating a spreading effect from the grassroots.

Focus on timely and extraordinary rewards to encourage teachers and students with excellent achievements; pay special attention to teachers in remote areas and ethnic minority areas.

The conference also commended thousands of typical and advanced collectives and individuals, from teachers who created new teaching models to students who won international awards. These are the core force, the "conductors" who spread the emulation fire to the whole industry.

From the achieved foundation, the Dak Lak Education sector determined that patriotic emulation must be closely linked to professional tasks, especially improving the quality of comprehensive education and implementing Resolution 29. The models of "Happy School", "Building a Learning Society", "Digital Literacy" or "Each teacher is a creative example" will continue to be replicated.

The emulation movement does not stop at honoring, but must become a real driving force for innovation in every teaching hour, learning activity, and educational initiative. As the Director of the Department of Education and Training called for: "Every class hour is a good teaching hour, every school day is a happy day. Let each of us write the emulation epic of the provincial education sector."

With new momentum and spirit, Dak Lak education is confidently entering the 2025-2030 period, expected to have many breakthroughs, marks and successes.

On this occasion, the Department of Education and Training awarded 15 typical advanced collectives and 44 individuals in the provincial education and training sector for the period 2020-2025.
