From June 25 to July 6, ON Live Esports (under VTVcab) will exclusively organize, produce and broadcast the ON Live VALORANT Series Split 3 tournament. This season will bring together the top 8 Valorant teams in Vietnam, competing for a total prize of up to 145 million VND, and at the same time find a representative from Vietnam to participate in the Promo-Relo qualifying round of the Valorant tournament system in Southeast Asia. The entire tournament will be broadcast live on VTVcab's digital platforms such as ON Live, ON Live TV, ON Plus and VALORANT Vietnam, bringing a professional and modern e -sports experience to audiences nationwide.
The VALORANT Vietnam National Finals marked the partnership of two major brands, MobiFone and Woori Bank Vietnam. The participation of leading enterprises in the telecommunications and finance sectors has demonstrated a strategic vision in connecting with the young generation through esports, while affirming the strong development and commercialization potential of esports in the digital entertainment market in Vietnam.
Different from the previous two seasons, ON Live VALORANT Series Split 3 (OVS 3) not only expands the scale of the organization but also innovates the competition format to enhance the experience for both players and spectators. The Swiss Stage (from June 25 to 29) will apply a random draw method after each round, based on the competition results to determine the next opponent. All matches in this round will be played in the BO3 (Best of 3) format, and the 4 teams with the highest results will enter the Playoff round.
In the Playoff round (from July 3-4), the tournament will switch to a double elimination format with a winner's bracket and a loser's bracket, ensuring fairness and creating more opportunities for teams to demonstrate their abilities. All Playoff matches will remain in the BO3 format, except for the loser's bracket final and the grand final, which will be played directly in the BO5 format, to increase the drama and excitement.
ON Live VALORANT Series Split 3 is not only a championship race, but also a launching pad for young players to reach out to regional playgrounds. In the context of esports being increasingly recognized as a serious entertainment industry, tournaments like OVS are clear evidence of the rapid and promising development of esports in Vietnam.
