Discussing the construction of a transparent and effective digital asset legal framework

The Danang Software Business Association has just coordinated with the global cryptocurrency exchange Binance to organize the conference "Danang Fintech Summit 2025" with the theme of Exploring the future of digital assets. Representatives of management agencies, international experts, researchers and businesses attending the conference discussed important trends such as blockchain technology, legal framework and cybersecurity, thereby aiming to build a transparent, safe and sustainable digital asset ecosystem. In particular, the highlight that received much attention and discussion was the construction of a legal corridor for the development of digital assets in general and cryptocurrencies in particular, especially recently, state management agencies are perfecting legal regulations to facilitate the development of this field in Vietnam.

One of the documents that creates opportunities for digital asset development in Vietnam is Decision No. 1236/QD-TTg of the Government on the national strategy on application and development of blockchain technology until 2025, with a vision to 2030. In Da Nang, Resolution No. 136/2024/QH15 of the National Assembly on the organization of urban government and piloting a number of specific mechanisms and policies for the development of Da Nang city allows the city to operate a sandbox legal framework for testing new technology fields, including blockchain and digital assets. These are important premises for Vietnam in general and Da Nang in particular to attract investors in the coming time.
