Complete housing support for meritorious people before July 24, 2025

(QNgTV) - The Government Office has just issued a notice of the conclusion of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh at the 6th meeting of the Central Steering Committee to implement the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses nationwide.

According to the data reported by localities on the software updated by July 8, 2025, the whole country has supported the elimination of more than 264,000 temporary and dilapidated houses; 19/34 localities have completed the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses for all three groups of meritorious people, housing support from the National Target Program and housing support for poor and near-poor households from the Launch Program.

The Prime Minister's conclusion emphasized that eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses is a particularly important political task with profound humanitarian significance, demonstrating the Party and State's concern for the people and gratitude to heroes, martyrs, and those who have contributed to the revolution.

The Prime Minister requested ministries, agencies and localities to resolutely direct the implementation of this task, determined to complete the goal of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses nationwide before August 31, 2025; including housing support for people with meritorious services and families of martyrs to be completed before July 24, 2025 to practically celebrate the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day, the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam; compete to achieve achievements to welcome Party Congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Party Congress.
