(GLO)- On the morning of July 17, comrade Nguyen Tuan Thanh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee inspected the operation of the two-level local government in Ia Phi commune.

Through the actual inspection at the Ia Phi Commune Public Administration Service Center, it was found that the basic equipment meets the work requirements; the officers and civil servants work with a sense of urgency and responsibility.

After more than 2 weeks of operating the new local government, the receipt of documents and handling of administrative procedures followed the prescribed procedures, on time, without interruption.

In addition to the achieved results, the leaders of Ia Phi commune also pointed out some difficulties and problems such as: the infrastructure serving the work of the commune has mostly degraded and damaged; the arrangement of working rooms is not enough for officials and civil servants to perform their duties; the area of the Commune Public Administration Service Center is still small, not ensuring the reception of citizens to resolve work.

In addition, after the merger, some cadres and civil servants live far away, and when they come to the commune center to work, they still do not have a public house for convenient living; few cadres have in-depth expertise in the fields of construction, resources, environment, information technology, etc.

Speaking at the meeting, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tuan Thanh acknowledged and highly appreciated the initiative and efforts of local officials and civil servants in the difficult conditions of the merger, but they soon stabilized the apparatus, serving the people and businesses.

In the coming time, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the commune to focus on doing a good job of ideological work, creating consensus among the Party Committee, government and people; taking people and businesses as the center and subject to remove obstacles and difficulties and taking the satisfaction of people and businesses as a measure for government activities.

The Party Committee, government and all cadres and civil servants of the communes continue to promote the spirit of solidarity, focus on leading the administrative apparatus to be streamlined, efficient, effective and efficient.

In particular, it is necessary to identify key tasks, breakthrough solutions and key projects.

At the same time, promote the spirit of self-reliance, self-improvement, change thinking, new ways of doing things, do not expect or rely on others; implement goals, tasks, and solutions with high determination, great efforts, drastic actions, not spread out, finish each task; focus on disbursing public investment capital, especially national target programs; carry out planning work well to create room for growth, thereby attracting effective investment and increasing budget revenue.

The Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also noted that Ia Phi commune must pay attention to improving the quality of material and spiritual life for the people, especially having specific plans to help people escape poverty sustainably; organize cultural and sports activities to serve the people; do a good job of ensuring environmental sanitation, increasing the rate of people using clean and hygienic water; focus on measures to ensure security and order, ethnic and religious affairs, and prevent the spread of superstition and illegal proselytizing in ethnic minority areas.

Provincial departments and branches need to promptly resolve proposals and recommendations from the communes; focus on training and professional development for civil servants, contributing to improving work quality.
