In particular, there are many targets to strive for in building and upgrading the urban area such as: Chi Linh is recognized as a type II urban area by 2030 and becomes a type I urban area by 2040. The urbanization rate strives for 85% (currently 73%); completing the upgrading of Hung Dao and Le Loi communes to wards; the total population of the city reaches 280,000 people, of which the inner-city population reaches 238,000 people...
In addition, there are some new indicators included for the first time in the target, such as the city's ranking according to the annual district-level competitiveness index, the rate of online public services, etc.
