On July 16, a working delegation from the Military Command of An Giang province, led by Colonel Nguyen Thanh An, Deputy Commander of the Provincial Military Command, inspected and grasped the situation of local military organization and combat training preparations for phase 2 in 2025 at the Military Command of Oc Eo commune. At the inspection, the working delegation assessed the implementation of leadership and direction documents of the Central Committee, the Central Military Commission, the Ministry of National Defense and the Provincial Military Command on the arrangement of military organizations at the commune level after administrative merger; inspected the results of building and adjusting the system of combat documents, training plans, combat readiness plans, handover - reception, management and use of facilities, and documents after the merger.

At the same time, the delegation inspected the actual work of building a regular order, discipline management, the work of building militia and self-defense forces, and the work of preparing for combat training in phase 2 of 2025, ensuring that it is close to reality and suitable to local conditions after implementing the 2-level local government model.
