The female singer was also specially selected to enter the quarter-finals.

Not only creating a fever on the international stage, Phuong My Chi also made the audience restless when performing the performance "He" with the members of the group at the program "Em xinh say hi". The performance brought a new breeze when combining the art of hát bội and tuong cổ into the modern music space. The female singer shared that from the first time she heard the demo (experiment) of "He", she immediately thought of bringing the material of hát bội and tuong cổ into the performance, because this is a special and priceless heritage. Phuong My Chi said: "Although this art form is not very popular in the popular music flow, it always has a cultural depth and a special source of artistic inspiration from the shape, music to the language of the stage. I believe that this will create a meaningful highlight on the modern stage".

To have a successful performance, Phuong My Chi's team worked directly with Meritorious Artist Ngoc Khanh to receive detailed instructions on this art form in terms of music, costumes, body, instruments and stage principles. In addition, the group also organized a working session with the project team "Heritage Journey - Hello Vietnam" to learn more about the limitations and spirit when innovating this traditional art form and the differences in the way of singing and performing Northern classical opera and Southern traditional opera.

After this performance aired, Meritorious Artist Ngoc Khanh was moved and shared: “I was moved to tears when I watched the performance “He”. The joy is indescribable because the children did it. Thank you for joining hands to spread the traditional art that is gradually fading away, renewing, refining... bringing the music and a little bit of Hat Boi costumes closer to the public and young people”.

Pioneering the fight against counterculture

Secretary of the Central Youth Union, President of the Central Vietnam Youth Union Nguyen Tuong Lam emphasized that young people are the bridge to bring traditional culture into modern life, and at the same time are the force contributing to spreading Vietnamese identity to the world . "The Youth Union and Association always accompany young people to raise awareness, deploy specific actions to encourage them to have the right cultural thinking, to appreciate, preserve and promote traditional values, the core cultural values of the nation" - Secretary of the Central Youth Union Nguyen Tuong Lam said.

When asked for opinions on the Draft Project "Youth participation in preserving and promoting the cultural identity of the Vietnamese nation in the period of 2024 - 2029", many experts, artists, scientists , celebrities and youth representatives made comments, contributing to clarifying the role, responsibility and necessary actions of youth in the work of preserving the soul of national culture.

The draft project aims to create a favorable environment for young people to participate in preserving and promoting cultural identity, through three main groups of solutions: propaganda and education, organizing cultural activities and supporting young people to develop the economy based on traditional culture. Notably, it is necessary to organize courses on cultural heritage and traditional arts such as Cheo singing, Tuong singing, Cai Luong singing, Ca Tru singing, regional folk songs; folk games, handicrafts, traditional dances, etc. The project also proposes to integrate ethnic cultural experience lessons into the general education program, helping students learn about traditional costumes, festivals, languages, and folk games of ethnic groups.

In particular, the Project orients youth to become a pioneering force in the fight against counter-cultural phenomena, behaviors contrary to traditional customs, as well as "peaceful evolution" plots in the fields of ideology and culture. The Project also encourages youth to develop the economy from traditional culture. Start-up models associated with craft villages and local culture will be supported in building brands, making culture a foundation for sustainable economic development. It is expected that at least 50 typical tourist destinations in ethnic minority and mountainous areas will be invested in and developed, in order to preserve culture and create livelihoods for people.

Vietnam will implement at least one youth project applying information technology and digital transformation to preserve national culture in each province and city; strive to build 50 digital cultural models and products created by young people, widely spreading them in the community.
