Tay Ninh province currently has 22 industrial parks in operation, with an area of 1,068.63 hectares, attracting 513 projects, reaching an occupancy rate of 81% of the planned area.
Of these, 22 industrial parks have come into operation, with an area of 1,068.63 hectares, attracting 513 projects, achieving an occupancy rate of 81% on the planned area and 92% on the completed infrastructure area, with the remaining land fund of about 43 hectares.
There are 27 industrial parks (area 1,428 ha) implementing investment procedures and building technical infrastructure.
There are 33 remaining industrial parks that have not yet been approved for investment; of which 02 industrial parks under previous planning have been revoked due to investors requesting to terminate operations; 31 industrial parks are newly planned for the period 2021-2030, and are promoting investment calling.
Regarding attracting investment in technical infrastructure, investors have submitted applications to become investors in 17 industrial parks, located in communes such as Tan Long, Tan Tay, My Quy, Nhut Tao, Can Duoc, Hiep Hoa, An Ninh, Tan Hoi. Of these, 15 industrial park projects have been approved for investment by the district-level People's Committees before, and the Department of Finance is appraising the proposals according to regulations.
According to the Department of Industry and Trade, there are still difficulties and problems. Some operating industrial parks have not yet completed site clearance and technical infrastructure construction. The reason is that legal procedures have not been fully implemented, projects were formed before the Industrial Park Management Regulations were issued or the industrial parks were renovated, so the actual status is not consistent with current regulations, and the implementation of procedures is facing many difficulties and problems (Hoang Gia Industrial Park, Duc Hoa Ha Industrial Park, Duc Hoa Dong Industrial Park, etc.)
Some industrial parks are implementing slowly, often having to extend many times. The reason is that the site clearance work is prolonged, the time for carrying out land acquisition procedures takes a long time, due to the impact of resettlement project progress; the capacity of some investors is still limited, there is a phenomenon of investing and selling projects through the form of changing legal representatives./.
