According to Mr. Daniel Guardado, General Director of Business Development of the Group, along with the world's largest producer of iron ore and nickel, the Group also produces manganese, ferroalloys, copper, bauxite, potash, kaolin and cobalt.
Appreciating the economic development situation of Vietnam, Mr. Daniel Guardado said that recently the Group has been cooperating very effectively with Hoa Phat Group of Vietnam in exporting iron ore; wishing to continue expanding business activities with Vietnamese partners, contributing to the growth of both economies; at the same time, from Vietnam, expanding cooperation to partners in the region.
Congratulating the Group on its impressive results in recent operations, the Prime Minister said that the Vietnam-Brazil relationship continues to develop well. The two sides agreed to create favorable conditions for businesses from both countries to invest and do business conveniently and effectively in each country.
Vietnam is entering a new stage of development, including many large projects, especially high-speed railway projects, urban railways, etc., so the demand for iron ore is very large. In addition, Vietnam has a large demand for other types of ores such as copper to serve future development.

In addition to supplying ore, the Prime Minister suggested that Vale could cooperate with Vietnamese economic groups to invest in the fields of mining, metallurgy, developing strategic material supply chains for the renewable energy industry and high-tech manufacturing; supporting and working with Vietnamese enterprises to build multinational economic groups. At the same time, expanding its presence in Vietnam in potential fields.
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh also informed about the situation, major orientations, development priorities, as well as the favorable investment and business environment in Vietnam and the very good friendship between Vietnam and Brazil, especially when the two countries upgraded their relationship to Strategic Partnership in November 2024.
The Prime Minister asked Brazilian businesses to contribute to concretizing the very good political and diplomatic foundation between the two countries into economic measures, connecting businesses, connecting the two economies, and crystallizing the friendship, friendship, and sincerity between Brazil and Vietnam into specific products and results.
Informing that the parties are promoting negotiations to soon sign the Free Trade Agreement between Vietnam and the MERCOSUR bloc, as well as with Brazil and the Vietnam-Brazil Investment Promotion and Protection Agreement, the Prime Minister asked Brazilian corporations, associations and business federations to contribute so that these agreements can be signed soon, creating better conditions for businesses to cooperate and do business.
