Key products grow impressively

Electricity continues to be identified as a key area in the development strategy of Lam Dong industry. Many domestic and foreign enterprises have strongly promoted investment in this field. Especially the Son My Gas - Power Project Chain, including: Son My 1, Son My 2 and Son My LNG Port Warehouse. Local authorities are actively solving problems to accelerate development progress. At the same time, supporting the implementation of renewable energy projects such as wind power and solar power to come into operation soon.
At a recent survey of coastal industrial park (IP) projects, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Muoi requested that sectors and units urgently implement related tasks, contributing to promoting the progress of IP projects in the area. At the same time, actively accompany and coordinate to remove difficulties and obstacles for investors, especially regarding IP infrastructure.
Long-term industrial strategy
Looking forward to 2026, Lam Dong industry continues to expect stronger growth. It is expected that the industrial production index will increase by 9.89% compared to 2025. The industry's GRDP proportion is estimated at 22.02%. To achieve this goal, the locality is focusing on perfecting mechanisms and policies for industrial development in a modern, sustainable direction and adapting to the green transformation trend.
Important programs are quickly controlled, built and developed. In particular, the organization and development of industrial clusters is being systematically implemented by the province. Priority is given to building multi-industry industrial clusters, suitable to the potential of each locality, with a synchronous and environmentally friendly infrastructure system. Capable and experienced investors are selected to develop industrial cluster infrastructure and attract secondary projects.
In the coming time, Lam Dong will focus on developing the processing and manufacturing industry. These are industries with high added value and high technology. Fields such as: deep processing of titanium ore, supporting industries for energy and high-tech agriculture , production of electrical equipment, electronic components, construction materials, assembly of machinery, automobiles, motorbikes, etc. continue to attract investment. The textile and footwear industries are focused on developing towards improving competitiveness and gradually reducing processed products.
To create a solid foundation for development, the locality is gradually building industry value chains for key products, linking products with processing and consumption. In particular, coffee, pepper, cashew, macadamia, vegetables, tubers, fruits, silk - silk weaving - garment, seafood... will be the focus to form provincial and inter-regional linkage chains, helping to improve efficiency and economic value.
With high determination and synchronous policies, Lam Dong industry is facing the opportunity for outstanding development. The last months of the year will be the key period to accelerate, creating a solid momentum towards the goal of industrialization - modernization associated with green and sustainable development.
