New vitality in the homeland of Dong Thai Ninh

According to the history of the Commune Party Committee, since 1929, the commune had a Revolutionary Youth Comrades Association. In 1930, the Communist Party Cell was established with comrade Vu Van Vinh as Secretary. Under the leadership of the Cell, the movement to fight against colonialism and feudalism took place vigorously, typically the battle to defend Tan Boi beach (1938-1939). In August 1945, in the spirit of the General Uprising, the people of Than Dau rose up to seize power. Than Dau and Than Huong were two ancient villages belonging to the former Than Dau commune, now located in Dong Thai Ninh commune. This is a land formed in the 15th century, famous in the "eight communes, two communes" of Thai Ninh district, where the cultural traditions, mandarin examinations and ardent patriotism of the coastal people converge. For every citizen here, proud to be born and raised in the revolutionary homeland, even more excited to celebrate with the people of the whole country the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2. Promoting the revolutionary spirit, the people of Dong Thai Ninh commune today are joining hands to build their homeland. In the movement to build advanced new rural areas, people's strength becomes the main resource. With the support of 30 million VND from the People's Committee, Phu Uyen village mobilized party members, people and children living far from home to contribute money and donate land to build a cultural house. As a result, the village mobilized more than 1.7 billion VND; 18 households voluntarily donated more than ^2,000m2 of land to build a cultural house, sports field and auxiliary works. Thanks to the joint efforts and consensus, the project was quickly completed, spacious, meeting the cultural needs of the people. Along with that, the commune focused on economic development, creating a solid foundation for the homeland of Than Dau - Than Huong to break through and innovate. Notably, My Xuyen industrial cluster with 4 stable operating enterprises, creating jobs and increasing income for more than 4,000 workers inside and outside the commune. In the period of 2020 - 2025, the industrial and construction production value of the commune is estimated to reach over 8,304 billion VND. Mr. Jeong Jong Phil, Deputy Director of Mido - Vina International Co., Ltd. said: The company has 100% Korean capital, specializing in manufacturing swimwear for export to the US and EU markets. With the active support of the government in legal procedures and labor recruitment, the enterprise has developed stably, creating jobs for 400 workers.

In addition, the commune focuses on planning and creating conditions for people and businesses to invest in developing aquaculture combined with eco- tourism , turning potential into growth drivers. Currently, the commune has 81 ships and boats with 245 workers directly exploiting seafood; 291 hectares of tidal clam farming and 2.8 hectares of oyster farming. Notably, Minh Phu Company Limited, the management unit of Con Den Eco-tourism Area, has exploited more than 120 hectares of naturally raised clams, 8 hectares of shrimp and clam breeding, and organized many attractive experiential activities such as swimming, picnics, beach games, etc. Mr. Bui Van Khoa, Deputy Director of Minh Phu Company Limited, the management unit of Con Den Eco-tourism Area, said: Every year, Con Den Eco-tourism Area welcomes more than 70,000 visitors from inside and outside the province. With a scale of 1,150 hectares, we aim to develop various types of resorts, associated with seafood exploitation, promoting the image of our homeland Dong Thai Ninh to tourists. Comrade Nguyen Quang Vinh, Chairman of the Commune People's Committee, said: The commune strives to have an average production value growth rate of 13.9% per year by 2030; average income per capita increases by 45% compared to 2025; poverty rate is below 1.5%. To achieve the set goals, the commune will maximize its potential and advantages, mobilize all resources, create economic breakthroughs in a fast and sustainable direction; perfect the investment attraction mechanism; accelerate the progress of site clearance for key projects; focus on administrative reform, promote digital transformation; build a synchronous infrastructure system; effectively exploit existing planning, gradually establish local planning in the direction of opening up space for industrial, urban and civilized and modern service development.
