Division 968: Inauguration of clean water project for the community

QTO - On the afternoon of August 27, Division 968 held an inauguration ceremony for a clean water project for the community in Ban Chua village, Hieu Giang commune. This is one of the meaningful activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2.

Ban Chua village, Hieu Giang commune is a mountainous area with an important strategic position in terms of national defense and security. The village currently has 102 households, 450 people, and their economic life depends mainly on agricultural production, so it is very difficult. In particular, many households still do not have access to clean water.

With the desire to bring clean water to the people, from August 7 to 27, Division 968 coordinated with local authorities and mobilized MB Bank - Quang Tri Branch, Nhat Long Company Limited to support funding for the construction of a clean water project for the community. The project includes the following items: 2 drilled wells, 2 pumps, 2 water tanks of 2,000 liters, a common living area for people, solar lights..., with a total value of 80 million VND.

On this occasion, Division 968 presented 10 disadvantaged households in Ban Chua village with gifts of cash and necessities.
