In the period of 2020-2025, the Culture, Sports and Tourism sector has proactively led, directed and implemented well the patriotic emulation movement, completing and exceeding the development goals and tasks of the sector in all fields. The results from the sector's emulation movements have contributed to creating a new look for Thanh Hoa.
Over the past 5 years, the Party Committee, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the units and organizations under the Department have thoroughly grasped and promptly and effectively implemented the Party and State's directives on emulation and reward work associated with "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle" to all Party members, union members, civil servants, public employees and workers in the entire industry.

The emulation movements focus on promoting administrative reform, focusing on reforming administrative procedures, and improving the quality of advisory work. Over the past 5 years, the Department has chaired and coordinated with other sectors to advise the Provincial People's Committee to submit to the Provincial People's Council 26 Resolutions; submitted to the Provincial People's Committee for approval 103 projects, plans, programs in all 4 areas of culture, sports , tourism and family.
In the period 2020-2025, 16 more relics were recognized at the provincial level, bringing the total number of ranked relics to 858; 15 traditional festivals were restored. Performing arts activities from professional to mass are organized regularly, especially on holidays, New Year, and anniversaries.
The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has organized 14 provincial-level cultural, artistic and propaganda festivals; participated in 40 national festivals, competitions, performances, festivals and exhibitions. Museum and library activities have been innovated, attracting a large number of visitors to visit, study and exchange experiences.
In the period of 2020-2025, Thanh Hoa province has 16 more relics recognized at the provincial level; 15 traditional festivals have been restored. The whole sector organized 14 provincial-level cultural, artistic, propaganda and agitation festivals; participated in 40 national festivals, competitions, performances, festivals, and exhibitions. |
The movement of the whole people uniting to build a cultural life is increasingly developing, creating a widespread influence among all classes of people. Family work and prevention of domestic violence in the province have achieved many important results.

Physical education and sports activities continue to receive investment attention and have new developments. The Department has organized over 100 sports tournaments. The number of people participating in physical education and sports regularly reaches 44.8%. High-performance sports always rank among the top in the country.
Over the past 5 years, Thanh Hoa's high-performance athletes have participated in 566 national and international sports competitions, winning 3,536 medals of all kinds; 361 athletes were awarded the title of "honorary", many athletes won world and Asian medals. |
In 5 years, Thanh Hoa tourism is estimated to welcome over 58.2 million visitors, with an average growth rate of 34.4% per year; total tourism revenue is estimated at 128,886 billion VND, with an average growth rate of 34.4% per year.
State management of press and publishing in the province has been focused on promoting, strengthening the review, rectification and handling of the situation of "newspaperization" of general electronic information sites and social networks.
Participating in the emulation movement "For the poor - leaving no one behind in Thanh Hoa province for the period 2021-2025", "The whole country joins hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses"; National Target Program on sustainable poverty reduction, from 2021 to present, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has mobilized support and built houses for 134 households with a total value of more than 9.4 billion VND.

To realize the goal of building new people, new culture, for a Thanh Hoa rich in identity, strong in sports, breakthrough tourism reaching regional and international levels, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism determined to continue to strengthen the leadership of the Party Committee in emulation and reward work; propagate the Party's guidelines and policies, President Ho Chi Minh's ideology on patriotic emulation, State policies and laws on emulation and reward; promote and improve the quality of emulation movements, innovate the content, form, and measures to organize emulation movements...
At the conference, delegates also discussed and shared experiences and difficulties in the process of implementing tasks and carrying out emulation movements.

Also at the conference, representatives of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism launched the emulation movement for the period 2025-2030.
