Digitizing information on martyrs' graves, relics, and photos into an online data system

(CT) - The Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union has just issued the Project "Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union participates in preserving and propagating historical stories", with the theme "Stories of the time of war".

Accordingly, the Project sets out two key objectives, including: to deploy nationwide quickly, accurately and effectively; through the storage and dissemination of historical stories, serving the work of education , research and dissemination of historical and traditional values. The subjects of implementation are union members, association members, youth and children at home and abroad. The source of information exploited includes those who participated in the revolution before August 1945, Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, Armed Forces Heroes, Labor Heroes during the resistance war, war invalids, sick soldiers, veterans, former youth volunteers and direct witnesses of important historical events.

The Project implementation period lasts 1 year (from July 27, 2025 to July 27, 2026); divided into 4 peak periods, associated with important events of the country and the Union. Accordingly, period 1: celebrating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and National Day (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025); period 2: celebrating the 81st anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22, 1944 - December 22, 2025); Phase 3: celebrating the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 - March 26, 2026) and phase 4: summarizing the project, associated with the 79th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2026). The Central Youth Union will develop a set of framework documents, guide interviewing and filming skills, and especially use AI tools to convert voice into text, effectively supporting editing. At the same time, build an information portal and cultural products at http://cauchuyenlichsu.doanthanhnien.vn. Volunteer teams will also digitize information on martyrs' graves, memorabilia, and photos, creating an online data system.
