At the ceremony, the Organizing Committee awarded 30 scholarships (each worth VND 800,000) to disadvantaged students at An Nghiep Primary School and Tran Hung Dao Secondary School.
On the eve of the new school year 2025-2026, the Youth Union at all levels of Can Tho City has also organized many activities to support students in difficult circumstances to go to school. Typically, the Cai Khe Ward Youth Union mobilized to award 30 scholarships (VND 1 million/scholarship) and more than 400 gifts (backpacks, school supplies, milk cakes) to students in the ward, with a total value of VND 200 million.
The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and socio -political organizations of Thoi Long ward mobilized 477 gifts (backpacks, books, school supplies) to give to students in difficult circumstances, with a total value of 240 million VND. The ward's Youth Union coordinated with units to organize free haircuts, free English and IT review for students during the summer.
From the beginning of July 2025 to now, 100% of the Youth Union organizations of universities and colleges in Can Tho City have helped 1,500 students in difficult circumstances through many activities: giving scholarships, bicycles, study tools and summer review courses (English, IT, life skills).
* On the same day, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of O Mon Ward and the O Mon Ward Youth Union coordinated with agencies, units, and philanthropists to organize the program "Support to go to school" and "Free love stall" for poor, near-poor, and disadvantaged primary and secondary school students in the ward.
Specifically, the “Support to School” program awarded 120 scholarships (each worth 500,000 VND); 60 gifts including: backpacks, notebooks, school supplies (each worth 300,000 VND) and 10 bicycles worth 15 million VND. The “0 VND Love Booth” gave away 100 gifts including: backpacks, notebooks, school supplies (each worth 300,000 VND).
* On the same day, the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Long Tuyen ward organized a gift-giving ceremony for students with difficult circumstances who overcame difficulties to study well...
At Long Tuyen 2 Secondary School, the Organizing Committee presented 100 gifts, including notebooks and cash, each worth 250,000 VND, sponsored by the Ward Women's Union and the Board of Directors of Long Tuyen 2 Secondary School, mobilizing the Technical and Off-line Department of Can Tho City Police and Can Tho International Airport, and the Can Tho 1,000 VND Volunteer Vegetarian Meal Group.
* The Women's Union of An Binh Ward has just held a conference to announce the decisions to establish 16 affiliated women's unions and the decisions to appoint the union president and vice president.
On this occasion, the Ward Women's Union presented gifts and Nguyen Thi Dinh scholarships to 11 students who overcame difficulties and studied well in the area. Each student received a cash scholarship worth 500,000 VND, along with 20 notebooks and 1 leather bag.
* On the same day, Cai Rang Ward People's Committee coordinated with units to organize the program "Support to school", awarding scholarships and gifts to disadvantaged students in the ward before the new school year 2025-2026.
The organizing committee awarded 100 scholarships and gifts (each consisting of 400,000 VND in cash and 20 notebooks) to the students.
