Students have a positive and proactive attitude towards learning
This morning, June 17, at the Thanh Nien Newspaper office, the closing ceremony of the News Assessment training course for students majoring in multimedia communications at the Ho Chi Minh City University of Management and Technology took place.
The course starts on May 8 with guidance and sharing from experienced journalists at Thanh Nien Newspaper.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Mai, Deputy Head of the International Department, the main lecturer of the class, commented: "Through the process of participating in teaching and guiding, I see that the students study very seriously, participating in the lessons with a positive and proactive attitude. After being shared knowledge about analyzing, identifying fake information, and practicing verifying information, the students have done very well in practical exercises. Some of them were even published in Thanh Nien Newspaper and received the attention of readers."

Journalist Nguyen Trong Phuoc, member of the Editorial Board, Director of the Center for Digital Content Development and in charge ofthe Education Department, also commented that UMT students have a serious learning spirit and attitude and very good communication and behavioral skills. "These are all important factors for future work," said journalist Trong Phuoc.
Learn new knowledge and skills
Present at the closing ceremony, student Ngoc Thuy shared her feelings: "My friends and I have learned and practiced a lot of knowledge with dedicated journalists and lecturers. Besides, when doing the exercises, we also received enthusiastic support from MCs, editors, and technicians of the newspaper."

For Tran Bao Ngoc, the course at Thanh Nien Newspaper brought new knowledge and skills, different from what she learned in the classroom.
Meanwhile, Mai Truc Huynh expressed her excitement because she "didn't want to finish the course". "I learned and practiced practical skills from dedicated lecturers, thereby gaining more knowledge and experience to help me in my future career path", Truc Huynh shared.
