Early morning, in the quiet space of the old forest, combined with the spring rainy weather, the raindrops weighed down the spider webs hanging on the old apricot trees in the middle of the Cuc Phuong forest. The pure and captivating white color of the apricot flowers covered the sky, making the traveler feel lost in a fantasy, immense and mysterious.

On the rough, moldy tree trunks, the full plum blossoms cling to the white branches, as if grateful to nature for bestowing the pristine, pure beauty of the primeval forest of Cuc Phuong.

According to Mr. Do Hong Hai, Deputy Director of the Center for EnvironmentalEducation and Tourism Services, Cuc Phuong National Park, this apricot garden with nearly 100 trees was planted more than 40 years ago. Unlike apricot blossoms and peach blossoms, apricot blossoms usually bloom earlier, peaking about a month before Tet. This year in particular, due to the long sunny spell at the end of the year and warm weather, the apricot blossoms are in full bloom since December.

On beautiful days, the sky is a deep blue and the spring sunlight falls on the charming white petals of the apricot blossoms, highlighting the entire mountainous region, creating an intoxicating charm that holds the feet of tourists from all over the world when they come here.
